I got alot of time for Orgs that clean up waterways. We attempted to access some funds from the Stamp fees a couple years ago. This to do some house cleaning at a watersystem. It was denied. The funds went to other groups doing research on things non Hunting/Fishing related.

Excellant, there once was an Org that was doing excellant reconstruction on the Halfway River down my way. I was told by a former member of the group that it became political and they terminated their work. Sad, that river is a great little river.

Robbie Hiltz belonged to that group and the fella who started it (forget his name) had a rough go of it for a while, family problems... and the group fell apart is the way I heard it

There was some internal fighting is how it was put to me. A guy from the Canning area was taking the lead, another, who was less involved interjected, then bickering occurred and it ended. That is how it was presented to me. There are always two sides to all stories, then the third side which is usually more correct. LOL
