I've got the day off on Friday so I can take full advantage. Looking forward to it and then out setting snares on Saturday afternoon, taking the shotgun with me just in case.
Best of luck to everybody and be safe in the woods please

Found a rabbit head while bird hunting on Saturday but I haven't seen many around. Will be putting some snares down in last years places just to make sure though.

It's gonna be a wet day...fer sure. I expect to be out scouting some new ground...Rainy days are great for that. Quiet...scent disperses quick...and I eventually dry out !!

i like hunting the rain, deer still travel, specially if you get a break in the rain they will be out looking for food

Less people out in the rain as well so no chance of animals getting spooked by people, other than hunters, walking in the woods.
