Over the years I have used a number of brands of trail cams. Used Bushnell as well as Scout Guards. However the best cams that I have owned and used are Simmons. I currently have 5 hanging from trees. The battery life is long, the Pic quality is certainly good and they are easy to program. Add to that they are small and greyish in colour, thus blend in well. Anyone here ever try them?

My hunting partner has his own hunting shop and is really well versed on most of the cameras out there. He predominantly carries U-way and Scoutguards now. Last year, I think between the 2 of us we had 9 cameras out??? I have an old 'workhorse' Moultrie and a Stealth cam (which is junk as far as I'm concerned)...Last year my cameras failed me badly. The old Moultrie is just sooo hard on batteries, and she started missing pics. The Stealthcam?...well...it's always missed pics... I've never tried the Simmons line...but I expect a U-way will be my next purchase, though.

I've got a Moultrie out and she hasn't given me any issues. I brought it back in when the cold weather really hit but then spooked a couple of deer near where she had been placed, needless to say I've put her back out again now to see what's coming in.
The quality of pics is good even with the IR flash.
