New to your message board. Saw on Kijiji there was a new hunting/fishing site so I thought to check it out. While browsing a question came to me. I hunt deer sometimes in behind the airport up Old Guysborough Road, directly in behind the golf course.
My stand is kind of deep in the bush near these two lakes Bell Lake & O'Brien. I've never fished them, nor have I gotten close enough to really see if I could get a canoe in there. I have seen one of the little swamp rivers that comes out of it (my stand was next to one of them) I get the feeling that it would be good trout fishing.
Has anyone here ever fished or scouted these lakes? If so, how did you do / what did you discover? What kind of fish?
Thanks,
Adam

Welcome. I am not familiar with those lakes, but out that way is considered to be some pretty good Trout Fishing. Those little boggy waterways are what I fish Trout in, with good success. You should give it a try in May.

Yeah chances are if its swampy ish there's going to be great trout fishing, backwoods lakes and streams are my favourite. As for ability to launch a boat back woods isn't probable unless you don't mind getting lil wet
