They sure will .... Hadn't seen a yote all winter until this morning on the way to work one ran across the 101 in front of me at the Kingston exit ...about a 100 yards from that exit to the Middle School

That particular attack happened directly across the road from my Daughter in Digby Neck. She said the next day the Deer was found dead. Lots of Coyotes down that way. In her back yard, regularly. Still have not had a single one on my woodlot this winter. Yesterday going out to my camp (I am off this week) I counted 22 deer in 4 different groups. The bigger groups were in fields and the golf course (golf is not a sport) where open grass was. The others were in my lot, where the snow has a mean crust on it. March is critical to Deer survival and fawn reproduction, the snow has to leave...SOON!

i almost hit one on the 104 just outside of the exit to pictou on Friday, and on the drive back Sunday counted 9 deer before even leaving pictou county
