My Perfect Deer Steak is slow cooked in the pan, I First add a good helping of olive oil to the pan and begin it to warm on a low heat, take my fully thawed deer steak and rub a little olive oil on top of it. Grab a little salt and pepper and rub this is then my spice of the day I usually go with a herb and garlic or hotter spice. Rub this in and then place it on the warmed pan seasoned side down. Now I repeat the process on the other side, when the juices start flowing through I flip it and wait for the juice to flow again once i see a good sign of juice i increase the heat and quickly sear on both sides and enjoy!
