Nice Rabbit lguthro.
I didn't get any photos of mine when I got it at the back end of last year, primarily because it was on the way to the deer stand.
I'm hoping we get a few this weekend also. The freezer is crying out for some fresh meat.

Went out today and got 10 with Terry Newcombe from the other site. Didn't get any photos but we both brought 5 home each. Was a great laugh and some serious fun over near Middle Musquodoboit.

Good stuff as a general rule I dont rabbit hunt cause I don't eat them but my 15 year old who shows little interest in hunting but likes to go out and shoot the .22 so he and I may go out tomorrow in the am and see if we can come up with a bunny or 2 ...my wife has a friend who would like a pair

Sounds like my Nephew. I took him on the ATV, way back Troutin, when he got there he hated it, wanted to come home to play games. He did not even catch a fish, they were jumping all around him. I even baited his hook. LOL BTW he was about 16-17 at the time.

I manage to get the kids out once a year fishing ...but they made it out pheasant hunting a couple of times with the dog and I...man you didn't have to ask my oldest boy twice to go hunting or fishing when he was at home ...he would set his alarm clock 15 minutes ahead of mine...LOL...now he lives 5400km away and has no time for either activity

Work and life must have taken over his life. That happens to so many. Many of by old boyhood friends had that happen to them too. I have been lucky, wife always encouraged me to Hunt and Fish. I guess I got lucky.

yes life and work took over...10% life and 90% work for him but he enjoys it. Well me and the other boy made it out this morning and even though we didn't see any bunnies we shot the .22 and had what I thought was a pretty good outing...still a ton of snow in the woods on the North Mountain but when we got into a chopping it was pretty well bare.

Looks like a good time was had. Lots of snow there Mike. Just came back from my woodlot, walked the trail around, snow is all but gone. Big difference on either side of the valley I can see. What make is that 22?

Got the same Lakefield, that is why I asked..it looked real familiar. MY favorite now is a 10/22. That is a real quality gun, all it sees are targets. My days of Rabbits is long past, with my father who would eat them.
