Another deer season over for me. No luck and only the sightings from the trail camera. May not get a tag next year so that I can help the population bounce back, in my own small way.

I did not buy a tag this year. We just did not see the numbers around here. And if I lived any further in the woods my address would be second larch on the left past the pile of rocks. As a foot note while cutting next years fire wood I did happen past 2 piles of bleached bones. Probbly from the hard spring that we had this year

I haven't got to that stage for my address yet. Currently mine is close to small toadstool near spring before entering trails.
Just spooked a deer coming into the orchard when I went down to turn the water heater on for the chickens. Not sure which it was but hopefully will get on camera later on.
