Looking for some info on the Shubie river, just got a place just off the system, what species are in it does anyone know where it switches tidal point

the tidal water mark for the shubie stops at the CN bridge off exit #10 on the 102, turn right drive maybe 2 or 3 minutes and you will see a train bridge by some ball/soccer fields that is the tidal water cut off

your welcome, also the tidal water cut off point for the stewiacke river is the bridge on hwy #2 which the river flows under

Plenty of stuff in the shubie. You got stripers and shad in the spring, smallmouth bass, pickerel, brown bullhead, and trout all year round. It's a river that passes through a lot of populated places but even with that still has plenty in it. As for the bullhead I'm not sure if that's the right fish but there is a species of catfish in there.

Thanks NSsens, i have hooked a few small stripers so far and shad on the corner of 9 mile.. Went trouting and lost one.. no picks or SMB

it has its perks, i ventured through the woods directly behind me not a great fishing spot, wide and shallow
