I do a large amount of backwoods Brookie fishing. Love being way back in with no human sounds. I would not mind getting together as well, i would like to fish some of those allusive rivers up in Central Nova. I think the Waugh and Phillips would be my choice. Never tried that type of fishing, I believe the Browns in there are Sea Runs?

I walk the deadwaters, fall through the Beaver Holes, come home full of Ticks, on occassion walked on Hornets Nests, have been chased by a Beaver or two who I surprised, had to yell at Bears so they knew i was there....... but love every minute of it.

Who are you refering to as fine? I have not been called fine, or a gentleman since I was young. LOL The opening day and few after that, pending weather, ice conditions, I am back remote fishing. Perhaps later on we can gather at a spot that we all can get to. Any spot that I would take you to would entail, long walks, through junk or ATVing just to get to where you would start walking from. Have said this I am game just not the first weekend or so. Perhaps once the Black Flies start and alder leaves are the size of mouse ears. I assume you are talking Trout?

Not sure. If I could think of a way to stop osprey and herons from getting fish out of our pond then I'd be restocking that - no license required as it's on private property.
Each time I get a fishing license I never manage to get out so I mainly do saltwater now although a day with fellow anglers does sound like a good time.
